Empowering people to be their own heroes by Alex Pawlowska

Metting GIRLI

One day I was sitting on the bus and something told me to photograph a girl with pink hair sitting in front of me. We happened to be getting off at the same bus stop and I ask her for a photograph. She told me she was doing music. A few weeks later I was at the @pinkprotest and saw the same girl performing her music on stage for a crowd of women who showed up to make their voice heard. –
Ever since the meeting on that bus I Ioved watching @girlimusic sharing her art, her courageous honesty, her advocacy for mental health awareness and her activism. Life always has its way of crossing our paths with the right people. Sometimes, we just have to dare to say hi, both to life and to the person in front of us.
