Me & My Retired Mum Went Travelling As We Realised: We Won’t Be Here Forever

Me and my mum talked about travelling together for years, but there was never the right time. After loosing my grandma I realised that neither me nor my mum will be here forever. So I took a month off work to embark on our biggest adventure together: travelling across the United States. Your life is the biggest gift you have ever received and no one knows how much time you have on this Earth. So don’t wait for the right time to come. To be who you want to be, to do the things you want to do, to say what you want to say… do it now. The right time will never come until you make it the right time.

We are back to travelling! This time it is Delhi, where Looking for Heroes' next project has its heart. . A few months back my colleague handed me a print out that was left by the printer at work. She thought it was mine and even though it wasn't I accepted the message and stuck it to the wall by my desk. The message says: Namaste My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire Universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty and peace within you, because it is also within me. In sharing these things we are united, we are the same, we are one. . As I am writing this message we are travelling in India were we use namaste as a greeting. The greeting that acknowledges that we are the same, that we are one, that we are united. . Photo by @_kevinberry_
