The Power Collection Behind the scenes: Photoshoot with the workers Share Aleksandra Pawlowska February 21, 2020 View this post on Instagram I photographed many times in my life, but this photoshoot was one of the most memorable for me. When visiting India, I had just one day to visit @workshelter and was nervous whether I will have enough time. I brought a piece of fabric from a trip to Hong Kong and hanged it on a rack that was left on the rooftop. We took a chair from the production room and that was it, our photoshoot set ready. Women came as they were on that day, from their working stations, so that you could meet them just as you would if you walked into the shelter on that day. – Often I have questions about the paths life has chosen for me. I often had plans for myself that just weren’t meant to worked out. But on that day, I felt strongly, that everything that I have done in recent times – photography, storytelling, even my day job, was preparing me for this exact moment. To be there with these women on that sunny day in New Delhi in India. I don’t know where this path will lead me, but at the end of it, there will be lots to cherish and for me, this day will be a day to remember. – Memories from 12.03.2018. – Music: Escape Reality by @nosuitsnotrends A post shared by Looking for Heroes (@lookingforheroes) on Feb 17, 2020 at 12:58am PST Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
